“The core values and mission of state government should be to keep our citizens’ taxes low, remove burdensome regulations from job creators, provide a healthy educational environment, and defend our constitutional rights. As your representative, I will fight for these four principles every day at our state’s Capitol.”

Low Taxes

I believe hard-working Georgians know best how to handle their money.  Every dollar given to the government in taxes has the potential for waste, fraud, and abuse.  This is money our citizens can use to provide for their families, start or invest in a business, or send kids to college. As your state representative, I will continue voting to leave more money in taxpayers’ pockets.

Less Government

As a small business owner, I see first-hand the disastrous effects of government overreach into the lives of business owners and employees. Excessive taxation, Obamacare, and other liberal policies have a damaging and long-lasting impact on our economy. As your representative, I will always vote against tax increases and all unfunded mandates that hurt our businesses and our families. As a state, we are doing everything possible to incentivize existing businesses to grow, new businesses to start, and out-of-state businesses to relocate to Georgia. That is why Georgia has been ranked the number one place to do business by Site Selection Magazine.

SECURING OUR ELECTIONS

There are few issues as critical as election integrity. This is why I was proud to vote YES on SB 202 (Georgia's Election Integrity Act). Regardless of the lies told by President Joe Biden and radical Stacey Abrams, this bill makes it EASIER to vote in Georgia and harder to cheat. After the passage of SB 202, Heritage Action ranked Georgia #1 in the nation for election integrity. Though I understand there is more work to be done, I believe this legislation was a big step in the right direction.

Healthy Educational environment

Raising Hands

I am proud to be a co-sponsor of Anti-CRT legislation that will protect students and teachers from racial discrimination and compelled belief in racial essentialism doctrines or practices. These hateful and divisive theories have no place in our state. I will work tirelessly to ensure our schools remain a place of learning, not indoctrination.

As a father of four children, I know the importance of good education and the unlimited potential it can create for a child. I believe a healthy community is one that provides quality educational choices for families to include excellent public and private schools and a supportive home school environment.

Defending Our Constitutional Rights

Newborn

PRO-Life

As a Christian father of four, I know the value of protecting the lives of the unborn. Our U.S. Constitution guarantees Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. As your state representative, I was proud to co-sponsor the Georgia Heartbeat Bill. You will never have to question where I stand on this issue!

Holy bible detail

Religious Liberty

As a member of the U.S. Armed Forces, I have fought overseas in countries where religious liberty was not protected. Our nation is unique in that we value the safeguarding and preservation of religious liberty. As your representative, I will always support the protection of this basic right and will continue to work with my colleagues in the House to pass a Religious Freedom Restoration Act that mirrors the federal act passed in 1993. Here is a link to a video that I believe does a great job explaining the value of religious liberty: https://rfratruth.org/#

Second Amendment

From the time I was very young, I have always recognized our God-given right to keep and bear arms. This is why I am a proud co-sponsor of Constitutional Carry. When I joined the U.S. Army I swore an oath to protect our country. When I became a father, I made a vow to protect my family. I have a deep understanding that the Second Amendment is about protecting our country, our homes, and our loved ones.
